What Sets Colorado College Apart From Other Colleges?

Rather than taking a full course load, students at Colorado College take a single class every 3 1/2 weeks for a total of eight classes a year through the school's distinctive Block Plan program. Classes are small and run for as long as the professor deems necessary.

Annual events, such as the Winter Ball and music festival called CC Llamapalooza, plus an active volunteering initiative complement the school's academic offerings. The Breaking Bread program, where faculty members invite students to their homes for dinner, helps break down the traditional barriers between students and faculty.

“CSS has moved and stored my daughter's things for 2 years now. I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. Shelhamer and his staff. Without the services of CSS, I would have had to travel from Texas to help my daughter move out, and put her things in storage. The prices are very reasonable for the invaluable service provided. The staff was considerate, and efficient. I recommend CSS and Michael Shelhamer without reservation! I will also be glad to answer any questions that you may have.” — Portia Brewster Smith
