About Colorado College & Our Services

Colorado College is a private liberal arts college in Colorado Springs, Colorado. With a history dating back to 1874, Colorado College prepares about 2,000 undergraduate students for their careers. Forbes named Colorado College among the state's best private colleges. U.S. News & World Report also recognized Colorado College among the best liberal arts colleges in the United States.

What Sets Colorado College Apart From Other Colleges?

Rather than taking a full course load, students at Colorado College take a single class every 3 1/2 weeks for a total of eight classes a year through the school's distinctive Block Plan program. Classes are small and run for as long as the professor deems necessary.

Annual events, such as the Winter Ball and music festival called CC Llamapalooza, plus an active volunteering initiative complement the school's academic offerings. The Breaking Bread program, where faculty members invite students to their homes for dinner, helps break down the traditional barriers between students and faculty.
