  • Now is the time to register for Summer Storage and Shipping services. Sign up today on our homepage.
  • Spring Break Saturday, March 15th - Sunday, March 23rd
  • Last Day of Classes – Thursday, May 1st
  • CU Finals are from Saturday, May 3rd - Wednesday, May 7th
  • CU Residence Halls Close Thursday, May 8th at 10 am.

CU Boulder On Campus Box Delivery Schedule

 

  • 3 days to choose from
  • Saturday, April 26th 
  • Sunday, April 27th
  • Friday, May 3rd 

These days, we will deliver boxes (3 different sizes), tape, packaging supplies, labels, markers, packing instructions, and a poster tube to all signed-up on-campus CU students. CSS will have two trucks on campus handing out boxes, tape, and packing supplies. All on-campus students must meet us at either location listed below on any day of the 3 days available. Students will pick out the packing supplies they need for storage, shipping services, or both at this time. Students can take up to 12 boxes of any size. We also have bubble wrap and wardrobe boxes to purchase if students need it.

Our CSS truck will be located and clearly marked at the following locations and times on all four days:

  • Farrand Field - In a parking space between Farrand and Libby Halls from 11 am - 2 pm
  • Williams Village - Near the bus stop in front of the Darley Towers from 11 am- 2 pm

CU students that will not be around on these box delivery days, if you email us ahead of time, we will leave boxes, tape, poster tubes, and packaging supplies at the front desk of your residence hall. Please email us ahead of time if you want us to do this for you. Or you can have a friend or roommate come and pick them up from us.

We also have for purchase extra bubble wrap, wardrobe boxes, tape, mattress covers, and LG and small tv boxes if students need them

If you need more boxes/ signed up late/ missed box days: If you sign up last minute and miss the box delivery day or need more boxes and tape, follow the on-campus pickup schedule listed below to meet us at ANY residence hall on campus at any of our trucks on Saturday, May 3rd -Wednesday, May the to get more boxes, tape, and supplies

Note to ALL On-campus students- If you need a box kit and packing material sooner, you can go to the Fitter on the Hill located at 1121 13th St. We work with the Fitter and stage our box kits there throughout the year. Go in and tell the employee at the counter you are signed up with COLLEGE STUDENT STORAGE and give them your confirmation # and they will give you a box kit and tape. Each box kit includes 4 LG boxes, 3 Med boxes, 3 Small Boxes, tie tags, 5 sheets of sticker label paper for a printer or to write on, a roll of tape, a poster tube, and a marker.

Truck 1- Main Campus and North Campus

Engineering Quad: Aden, Cockrell, Crossman, Reed, and Bracket Halls


You have 3 choices:


  1. Bring storage or shipping items to the curb of the parking lot in front of Bracket Hall on the sidewalk from 8:30 am to 9 am. Sunday-Wednesday **PLEASE you have to have all your items outside and ready to go at the beginning time we get to this pick-up location or please pick one of the other ones listed below.
  2. Bring your storage or shipping items to Libby Hall loading dock at 10:30 am-Noon. Sunday-Wednesday
  3. Bring your storage or shipping items to the Front of Farrand Hall at Noon – 1:30 pm. Sunday-Wednesday

**We understand this may be a hike for some engineering quad students, but there is no parking for our trucks in front or near your halls. Please come over and get us at the beginning of your pick-up time and get our attention at one of the 3 locations listed above if you need help and we will help you. We have plenty of dollies.

Main Quad/Farrand Field: Chey-Arrap, Willard, Farrand, Libby, Baker, and Hallet halls

Note: You’ll see our trucks following this schedule all around Farrand Field, If you are in a hurry you can bring items over to our truck wherever it's parked. Please bring all your items at once.

  • Baker Hall • 9 am-10:30 am • Out in the back of the hall on the sidewalk facing Farrand Field
  • Libby Hall • 10:30 am-Noon • On or near the loading dock facing Farrand Field
  • Farrand Hall-Willard-Hallett Halls • Noon-1:30 pm Out in front and between Farrand and Willard Hall on the sidewalk (You will see our truck parked along the fence of Farrand loop at the southeast corner of Farrand Field )
  • Cheyanne Arapahoe • 1:30 pm-2 pm • Out front on the sidewalk on the Northside of the hall facing Farrand Field ( We will be parked in Farrand loop along the fence to Farrand Field across the street from you)
  • Sewall Hall • 3 pm-4 pm • Out front on the sidewalk of 1/2 circle closest to the South West corner of the loop by the parking gate to on-campus

Kittredge Loop: Smith, Buckingham, Arnett, Andrews, Kittredge West, and Kittredge Central

  • Smith Hall • 9:30- 10 a.m. On Loading dock facing new law school, South facing loading dock
  • Buckingham Hall • 10  am- 10:30 am• On loading dock facing soccer field, South facing loading dock
  • Arnett Hall • 10:30 am- 11 a.m. On the loading dock facing Kittredge Field, East Facing loading dock
  • Andrews Hall and Kittredge Central • 11 am- Noon • On the Sidewalk in South West corner up above as near as possible to the Kittredge Central parking lot (We will be parked across the street near the bus stop )

Williams Village: Darley Towers, Stearns Towers, Williams Village North, and Bear Creek Halls

  • Williams Village North• 1 pm- 2 pm • Out in front of the hall on the sidewalk facing North
  • Williams Village East • 2 pm- 3 pm • Out in front of the hall on the sidewalk facing North
  • Stearns East Tower •  3 pm- 4 pm • Downstairs, in the back, on the loading dock
  • Stearns West Tower • 3 pm- 4 pm • Downstairs, in the back, on the loading dock
  • Darley South Tower • 4 pm- 5 pm  • Out front on the sidewalk, by the bike rack
  • Darley North Tower • 4 pm- 5 pm   • Out front, on the sidewalk, by the bike rack
  • CU Bear Creek Apartments • 5 pm- 5:15 pm • In front of the hall on the sidewalk outside (please be on time), or you can bring stuff to the back of Williams Village ll by tennis courts or Darley towers if you are in the a hurry in pick up times listed above.
  • Weber Apartments s • 5:15 pm- 5:30 pm • In front of the hall on the sidewalk outside (please be on time), or you can bring stuff to the back of Williams Village East from 2- 3 pm or Darley towers from 4- 5 pm if you are in a hurry in pick up times listed above.
  • **Bear Creek and Weber hall students, you can also set up a special pick-up day and time anytime throughout the year AFTER Wednesday, May 7th; email or call the office to set up.

If this On-Campus pickup schedule does not work for you, please call or email the office.

CU Boulder On-Campus Students, please start bringing your stuff down 30 minutes before we show up at your residence hall to the pickup location for your residence hall. The elevators are slow, and we are on a very tight schedule.

Important Pick-Up info-PLEASE READ

**** CSS IN-ROOM PICK-UP SERVICES****

When we show up at your residence hall, you can tell us that you would like this service and escort us to your room. You will escort our staff to your room to pick up your items. In-room pick-up is an additional $75 charge. If our employees do a good job, please tip them; they are all CU Boulder college students, work very hard, and can use the extra $$. Your items must be packed and ready to go in your room. 

** Rule # 1-Do not store foodIt will draw insects and critters into your boxes. If we find food in your boxes or plastic bins you will be billed a $250 surcharge.

** Please login to your account and print out labels using the label paper we gave you if you can. If you do not have a printer, write on sticker labels your name and confirmation # on them and put on your items

**Please put four labels on any large item and two on any small item. Use the tie tags we give you if the labels won't stay affixed. 

**Please use the marker we gave you and write your full name and confirmation # on all 4 sides of any box you give us. 

** All students, please be ready for us. Have items labeled, packed up, and ready to go.

** Use the tie tags we give you for all ski bags, snowboard bags, suitcases, bikes, and for any items that sticker tags will fall off of. 

**ON-CAMPUS STUDENTS- You need to have your items downstairs and ready to go at the beginning of your pick-up time for your residence hall!! We are on an EXTREMELY tight schedule. Please give yourself extra time to bring your items downstairs to the designated pick-up location for your hall before we show up.

**Storage customers: WE CAN STORE ANYTHING (INCLUDING VEHICLES), IT DOES NOT NEED TO GO IN A BOX! Any items like bikes, skis, snowboards, futons, plastic containers (pack em full of stuff), desk chairs, any furniture, lamps, etc. do not need to be boxed, they are fine the way they are! We can store all items, they do not need to be in a box!

**All flat-screen TVs must be repacked and boxed, or we will do this for you on pick up. There is a $75 - $100 depending on the size of the TV. This charge is for custom TV boxes, packing material, and time.

** Shipping customers: WE SHIP ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! We put $500 of insurance on every item we ship for free and email you tracking numbers. If you need it, we have bubble wrap available on the box delivery days. If you want to be shipped any items that do not fit in our boxes, give them to us the way they are, and we will re-pack them at our warehouse and then ship them for you. We repack and ship a lot of Bikes and Flat Screen TV's for students!

** Do both Summer Storage and Shipping Services: Many students use our shipping and storage services simultaneously!! Just label and tell us which items you want to be shipped and which ones you want to be stored; it's that simple!

** Return Unused Boxes: Students can take as many boxes as possible. Students who do not return any unused boxes when we pick up their items will be charged for them
